Patron Confidentiality

The Ethel Everhard Memorial Library recognizes that records and transactions, in which the name of the patron is identifiable, are confidential. Such personal patron records shall not be made available to any individual, group, or law enforcement agency except in the case of the exceptions listed in Wisconsin State Statute 43.30. Any requests for such information shall be referred to the Library Director. The Ethel Everhard Memorial Library also adheres to the Wisconsin’s Personal Information Practices Act (Sections 19.62 to 19.80), the Foreign Intelligence Security Act (FISA), and the USA Patriot Act regarding patron confidentiality.
